vGroups

Everyday sharing, learning and collaboration.

What are vGroups?

Away from the typical social media channels (where many of the users are patients), vGroups is a super-flexible collaboration module that’s purpose-built for the needs of healthcare professionals and product companies. It’s built using our core chat engine, on top of which we have layered a range of features including, for example, chat threads and alternative participation rights to a range of user types within a given vGroup.

The dominance of the large social media platforms is a growing topic of concern across industries, with Meta’s dominance of social media (via Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) being the most notable example.

In Healthcare, this issue is particularly pertinent, where the use of X/Twitter or LinkedIn as a medium for sharing and discussing clinical cases is becoming an increasing concern with respect to PHI.

With vGroups, you can build and shape the future structure of your clinical area(s), where a growing community can coalesce around a platform designed specifically around the unique needs of healthcare.

vGroups isn’t a “free for all” social media community. It’s a collaboration environment purpose-built for healthcare professionals.

Use Cases

Company-led vGroups generate new leads and increase product utilization.

How it works

  • vGroups can be either public of private (invite only)

  • They are super simple to create and share

  • Different users can be assigned a series of user-defined roles, with differing rights to inviting and removing members, pinning resources, sending messages, and seeing other members.

  • Given the flexibility and security of these featured, associations and service providers are looking to use vGroups as a way to interact internally.
